Terms of Use

You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms under applicable law. If you are using the App on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

Dewfold is intended solely as an informational and organizational tool. The App does not: practice medicine; provide medical advice; diagnose conditions; prescribe treatment; replace professional medical evaluation; or guarantee skincare outcomes. All routine suggestions, compatibility checks, warnings, and analyses are provided for convenience only. Users are solely responsible for: product selection; ingredient review; patch testing; routine decisions; product frequency; and seeking professional medical advice when necessary.

By using the App, you acknowledge and accept that skincare products and routines carry inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with: using skincare products; combining ingredients; following routines generated by the App; relying on imported ingredient or analysis data; acting on App suggestions or warnings; and using weather-adjusted recommendations when enabled. You acknowledge that adverse skin reactions can occur even when products are used correctly.

Use of the App does not create a doctor–patient relationship, dermatologist–patient relationship, other licensed professional relationship, or any fiduciary relationship. No information provided by the App should be interpreted as professional healthcare guidance.

Users are solely responsible for all information they enter, import, share, back up, restore, or export. Users represent that they have the necessary rights and permissions to import or use any content within the App. We are not responsible for: inaccurate product information; incorrect ingredient lists; misclassified products; corrupted files; parsing failures; user mistakes; or imported content from third parties.

The App includes automated rule-based logic intended to organize routines and identify possible skincare conflicts. However, the App may: misclassify ingredients; fail to detect conflicts; schedule inappropriate combinations; generate unsuitable routines; produce incomplete warnings; misinterpret imported reports; or experience software bugs or logic errors. Users should independently verify all skincare decisions.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF CONTENT. VDTKM LABS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY RECOMMENDATION, INGREDIENT ANALYSIS, OR ROUTINE GENERATED BY THE APP IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SKIN.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEWFOLD, VDTKM LABS, AND ITS OWNERS, DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND DISTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO: SKIN REACTIONS; INJURIES; MEDICAL CONDITIONS; ALLERGIC RESPONSES; PRODUCT MISUSE; DATA LOSS; DEVICE MALFUNCTION; INCORRECT RECOMMENDATIONS; IMPORTED CONTENT; WEATHER INACCURACIES; THIRD-PARTY FRAMEWORK OR SERVICE FAILURES; OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES TO ALL IN-APP FEATURES, DATA, AND SUGGESTIONS AS DESCRIBED IN THESE TERMS, INCLUDING ANY HARM ARISING FROM ANOTHER PERSON’S USE OF THE APP. IN NO EVENT SHALL TOTAL LIABILITY OF DEWFOLD OR VDTKM LABS TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE APP EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE UNLOCK PURCHASE, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages; in those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dewfold, VDTKM Labs, and its owners, developers, affiliates, contractors, licensors, and distributors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to: your misuse of the App; your violation of these Terms; your violation of applicable law; your use of imported or shared content; your skincare decisions; or any adverse reaction or harm associated with your product choices or your use of the App by you or through your account or device.

If you share, distribute, or otherwise make the App, its output, or content derived from it available to another person, you are solely responsible for that person’s use of the App and any resulting harm, and Dewfold and VDTKM Labs bear no liability for consequences arising from use of the App by anyone other than you, including any other person who uses your device or to whom you give access to the App or its output.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove features of the App at any time without notice, but we will not remove your ability to view and export your data. We are not responsible for any resulting loss of data, workflows, routines, or functionality.

Dewfold includes a free trial of 45 days from first use. The trial start date is stored in the iOS Keychain and may carry across your own devices through iCloud Keychain, so installing on another device or reinstalling does not restart the trial. After the trial, you can buy a one-time unlock to continue using the App in full; this is a single purchase, not a subscription. If you do not purchase, the App switches to read-only mode: your data remains viewable and exportable, but you cannot add or change content. Purchases are made through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies and are at Apple’s discretion; we cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.

Use of the App may also be subject to Apple App Store terms, Apple device terms, third-party framework licenses, and third-party privacy policies. Users are responsible for complying with applicable third-party terms.

The App, including its software, user interface, text, graphics, structure, and functionality, is protected by intellectual property laws. Information and routines you create or enter remain yours subject to how you use the App and applicable law. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. Users may not: copy the App except as permitted by law; reverse engineer the App except where prohibited by law; redistribute the App; modify or create derivative works from the App; or use the App unlawfully.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or use the App unlawfully. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where overridden by mandatory local law, including consumer-protection law in your country of residence. Where permitted by law, you agree that disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state and federal courts located in New York. Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under mandatory law to bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Dewfold / VDTKM Labs regarding use of the App, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
