Terms of Use

Smart Credit Ledger is a personal financial organization and tracking tool. It allows you to manually record and organize information about your credit accounts and other financial information. The App is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. Smart Credit Ledger is not a bank, lender, credit bureau, financial advisor, credit counselor, credit-repair service, tax advisor, or legal advisor. Nothing in the App should be considered financial, investment, credit, tax, or legal advice.

You are responsible for the information you enter into Smart Credit Ledger. We do not guarantee that information entered by you is accurate, complete, current, or error-free. You should verify important information directly with your financial institutions, credit-card issuers, lenders, credit bureaus, or other appropriate sources.

Smart Credit Ledger is a tracking and organization tool. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and actions, including monitoring your financial accounts, verifying account balances and other information, making payments on time, confirming payment amounts and due dates, avoiding late fees, interest charges, or other financial penalties, monitoring your credit, and making decisions regarding your credit and finances. You should not rely solely on Smart Credit Ledger to determine when a payment is due or how much you owe.

We do not guarantee that using Smart Credit Ledger will improve your credit score, improve your creditworthiness, reduce your debt, save you money, prevent late payments, prevent interest charges or fees, help you obtain credit, or produce any particular financial result. Any calculations, summaries, reminders, or other information provided by the App are intended as conveniences and should be independently verified when important.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VDTKM Labs is not responsible for any loss, damage, expense, financial consequence, missed payment, late fee, interest charge, change in credit score, loss of data, or other consequence resulting from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on Smart Credit Ledger. This includes consequences arising from inaccurate information entered into the App, incorrect calculations, missed or delayed notifications, device failure, loss of data, or financial decisions made using information displayed by the App. You agree that you use Smart Credit Ledger at your own risk and that you are solely responsible for your use of the App and any decisions or actions you take based on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Smart Credit Ledger is designed with privacy in mind. Information you enter into the App is intended to remain under your control as described in our Privacy Policy. The App uses Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your data across your own devices, within your own private iCloud account; VDTKM Labs does not access, store, or receive this data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and iCloud account, and for maintaining appropriate backups of your information where available. VDTKM Labs is not responsible for information lost because of device failure, accidental deletion, loss of your device, loss of access to your iCloud account, operating-system changes, failure to maintain backups, iCloud service interruptions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Smart Credit Ledger or any of its features at any time. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

You agree to use Smart Credit Ledger only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the operation of the App, gain unauthorized access to its systems, or use the App in a way that violates applicable law.

Smart Credit Ledger, including its software, design, graphics, logos, text, and other content, is owned by or licensed to VDTKM Labs. You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. These Terms do not give you ownership of the App or its intellectual property.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of Smart Credit Ledger after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
